The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is conducting a second public open house on the widening of U.S. Highway 191 from 400 North to the Colorado River bridge.
The open house is scheduled for Wednesday evening, June 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Moab City Hall, 217 E. Center St.
The open house will display the latest updated design layouts and schedule as well as the project goals for the road widening project, according to Kevin Kitchen, UDOT communications manager. Team members representing various disciplines of the project will be available.
The open house will provide continued opportunity for public input regarding the remaining project design elements.
While comments regarding design obtained at the open house may not receive a formal response, they will be used as a resource for the design team.
Comments regarding the environmental document re-evaluation for the project will be addressed at a future open house dedicated to that purpose.
Participants may attend the open house at any time between 5 and 8 p.m. that evening.
