Sand Flats Recreation Area apprentices helped to patrol the LPS trail during the month of May. This year marks the 23rd season for the Sand Flats Recreation Area Apprenticeship Program. In addition to providing job opportunities for local youth, the apprenticeship program is committed to educating young people about recreation and resource management and the protection of public lands.
