Michael A. Wages, artist and romantic, passed away peacefully in Moab on May 20 from cancer and other medical complications. He is survived by his beloved family members, including his brother, Louis A. Wages and wife, Gracie de la Rosa; half-brother Earl F. Wilburn and wife Betty; longtime friends Margaret and Gregg (who Mikey called mom and dad), and Linda Leigh, a friend for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his partner, ViviAnn Rose; his mother, Yulah M. Tharp; and his father, Louis O. Wages.
