WabiSabi recently gave out a total of $10,000 in proceeds from the first half of 2017 to its partner organizations: Arches Education Center, Beacon Afterschool Program, Community Rebuilds, Grand Area Mentoring, the Grand County Family Support Center, KZMU Community Radio, Moab Free Health Clinic, Moab Solutions, Moab Valley Multicultural Center/Centro Multicultural, Moab Native American Club and the Youth Garden Project.
The organizations were honored at an awards luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 24.
“(A) big thank-you to all of the community shoppers, donors and fans who helped us cut this giant check,” WabiSabi Program Director Nara Bopp-Williams said. “We couldn’t do it without your support.”
