We voted for him or her, We were born here or changed our lives to come here, We’re white, brown or black, Our church stands beneath a steeple or a sky, We’re straight, gay or in between, We’re young or old; rich, poor or just making it. We share these common threads – We all love America, We all love someone, We all have hopes, fears and dreams. Through love and understanding, May we weave these threads together Until they are the rope That binds and blesses us – Stronger Together Forever.
