Grand County Middle School science teacher Christy Hartman gave student Jackson Hobbs directions during the school’s Metric Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Under the direction of Hartman and seventh-grade math teacher Tina Martin, students were tasked to solve up to 60 metric problems for math and science.
Not only did they have to work together collaboratively; they had to find the questions that were hidden around the outside of the school, and then check with a teacher or assistant to verify the answers.
