Grand County Council chairman Lynn Jackson claims to represent the “silent majority” of Grand County. The only other politician in my memory to dare to make such a claim was Richard M Nixon. While councilman Jackson is confident that he speaks for this so-called silent majority, I am quite confident that like Mr. Nixon, Mr. Jackson will be proved to be an out-of-touch relic of a bygone age on the the wrong side of history.
