Barbara and Frank Stewart ring the bell for the Salvation Army’s red kettle in front of City Market. Money raised by the red kettle will go to help people in emergency situations in Moab. The bell-ringing began with the Stewarts on Friday, Nov. 29 and will continue until Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. The Stewarts recently moved to Moab from the Bay Area of California upon retirement. They’ve been looking forward to making Moab their home for 25 years. They said they are now actively looking for ways to be involved.
