Kane Scherer and Kevin Park try to recover the ball at the soccer tournament hosted by Prostar Moab Soccer last weekend. Several teams within the Colorado Youth Soccer Southwest League competed. Moab’s U12 boys team played 4-0 against teams from Crested Butte, Colo., not allowing a single goal. The U14 team went 2-0 against teams from Farmington, NM and Crested Butte. The girls U10 team will host teams from Montrose, Colo., Cortez, Colo., and Farmington, NM this weekend, while both U10 boys teams travel to Colorado to battle Montrose and Cortez teams.
