Some were practicing to compete in the Red Rock Rumble V that will take place at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 23 at the Old Spanish Trail Arena, 3641 S. Hwy 191. The event will feature professional and amateur fighters. Local fighters on the card are: Jared “Barnyard” Ehlers, Tim Coleman, Ularbek “Lean Machine” Ashirbekov, Sid Parker, Oliver Parker, Joe Wasson, Jermaine Tisi and Ammon Dalton, according to the event’s Facebook page. The event will also feature fighters from The Pit Elevated, Jackson’s MMA in Albuquerque, N.M., and 8th Street Gym and Crest Combat in Grand Junction, Colo.
