There will be a graveside service on Thursday, September 25 at 11 a.m. at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Moab.

Joan spent many years at the Senior Center for lunch and cards. She volunteered there also, starting an exercise class that was a staple at the center for many years. She was busy at the Senior Center four days a week and she often called it her job!  She would say that Thursdays were her day off, because the Senior Center didn’t serve on Thursdays. She was a recipient of the Silver Bowl Award from then-Governor Herbert in 2009 for her volunteer efforts.

Nick worked as an underground miner until the late 1980s, and then went to work for his wife, Patti. The two ran Moab’s Nifty Fashions until its closing in 2014, when they both retired.

A celebration of life will be held for Bill at the Spanish Valley Mortuary on September 6 from 2 to 4pm. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 11 a.m. at Spanish Valley Mortuary.

Al and his wife Alice loved camping, fishing, boating and water skiing, trips to the National Parks, cruising on their Gold Wing Honda motorcycle, building a cabin, snowmobiling, arrowhead and rock hunting on their ATV, to name a few. They enjoyed 73 years together.

Mary lived in Moab, where she worked as a housekeeper for Allen Memorial Hospital and later at the Moab Valley Inn. later in life, health issues prompted a move to the Emery County Care Center.
