Quarterback Club gives ,500 to GCHS football

The Quarterback Club recently donated $8,500 to the Grand County High School football program.

The Quarterback Club was formed in 2004 to offset the football program’s expenses. The club raises money by selling banners that are displayed during the football season on the fence surrounding the football field. Businesses are able to renew their banners by paying a fee each year.

The Quarterback Club has donated equipment, supplies and other necessities requested by head coach Dennis Wells since 2004.

“The local businesses have been wonderful over the year by donating and supporting our football program,” said Gail Wells, one of the Quarterback Club’s founders.

The first home game is on Friday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m.

Any businesses that would like to buy a banner and show support for the Grand County High School football team may contact Gail Wells at 435-260-9996.
