Richard “Rick” Memmott passed away at his home in Moab on Saturday, August 22, 2015, surrounded by his family.
Rick, son of Harmon and Klea Memmott, was born on November 16, 1952, in Nephi, Utah. Rick is one of five children. His siblings are Milton of Scipio, Utah; Marcia Miller, married to Russell of Richfield, Utah; Ann, married to Kirk Herbert of Monroe, Utah; and Danny, married to Annette Memmott of Jensen, Utah.
At age 19, he married his best friend and soul mate, Jan Warner. Together, they raised two children, Richard Lee and Lyndi Ann.
Rick loved spending time with his children and his six grandchildren — Kaiden, Skylee, Logan, Gracie, Sean and Kelly.
Funeral services were held on Saturday August 29, 2015, at the Moab Second Ward. Burial services were held at Sunset Garden Memorial Gardens.
