In Memory of Earlene Mary Montague, January 9, 1944 – July 15, 2022

Earlene Mary Montague was born on January 9, 1944, and passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 78. She was born to Silvia Adam and Earl Feckner in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Earlene’s first marriage was to Clyde Peay. They had four children and later divorced. Earlene later married the love of her life, her late husband Floyd Montague, in Goshen, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized at the Manti LDS Temple in 1978.

Earlene and Floyd settled in Moab, where she was a cook at the local hospital for many years. Her passion was her family and spending time with them. She was the strongest women and held her strength and grace to the end. She had many hobbies and talents that included gardening, stitching, quilt making, and lastly, she was a Kristen Stewart fan.

Earlene will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Earlene is survived by her children, Laura Ayase, Tom (Whitney) Montague, Robert (Jiyong) Montague, Bryan (Tamara) Montague, Chris (Jeanine) Montague, Julie (Alan) Murray and Jodie (Jeremy) Gay; her twenty-three grandchildren and her twenty-one great-grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Floyd, in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery on July 21 at 10 a.m. A viewing will be held on July 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spanish Valley Mortuary.
