The children from five kindergarten classes at Helen M. Knight Elementary shared what they want to be when they grow up.
Mrs. Crane’s Class
Abraham wants to be policeman. “Because you can keep people safe.”
Andrea wants to be scientist. “Then I could look for bones.”
Avery wants to be a cowgirl and ride horses.
Bralyn wants to be a paleontologist. “I could look for dinosaur bones.”
Cayden wants to work at the river and make a bridge over the river like his dad.
Charlotte wants to work at mom’s work, “So I can be with her. And I will be 29 like my mommy.”
Conner wants to be a cop. “I will pull everybody over that drives fast and give them a ticket.”
David wants to be a paleontologist and dig up dinosaur bones. “I want to discover a T-Rex head.”
Ean wants to be a professional baseball player. “I want to play mostly 1st base for the Red Sox.”
Evelyn wants to be a mommy. “I want to have big hair and have a boy baby.”
Jacob wants to be an astronaut. “Because I want to land on the moon and find moon rocks.”
Jordyn wants to be a doctor. “I will help people feel better and give them medicine.”
Kalan wants to be a daddy parent. “I will take care of my kids. I want two kids, a boy named Dillon and a girl named Alexis.”
Legacy wants to do people’s hair, “because it is fun. I will curl the hair and put it in a ponytail!”
Lily wants to be a paleontologist. “I will find dinosaur bones and put them in a museum.”
Maggie wants to be a rock star. “I love singing; it is my favorite thing to do. I watch shows every night about singing.”
Nick wants to be a fireman. “I will drive a fire truck and put out fires!”
Noah wants to be an archeologist. “I want to find gold and dinosaur bones. I am going to hang my finds on my walls for people to see.”
Serephina wants to be a mom. “I will cook spaghetti for my 10 kids!”
Sydney wants to be a paleontologist “so that I can dig for bones and become famous!”
Tyrese wants to be a cowboy “so I can ride a horse far away to see my grandma.”
Yasmin wants to be a dancer. “I will dance and wear a dark blue tutu. I will dance to ‘oh Mother May I?’”

Alexis: “I want to be a builder.”
Aracely: “I want to be an artist because I love drawing.”
Braulio: “I want to be an astronaut because I want to see the stars.”
Caden: “I want to be a cop so I can catch all the bad guys and save everybody.”
Connor: “I want to be a cop because they help other people.”
Emma: “I want to be a police officer because I love cops.”
Gage: “I want to be a soldier so I can save the world.”
Hiroshi: “I want to be a baseball player because I love baseball very much.”
Jace: “I want to be a firefighter because they have cool suits and a cool truck.”
Jayde: “I want to be a vet because I can help animals stay alive.”

Julian: “I want to be a scientist because they make potions.”
Kaleb: “I want to be a cop and firefighter because I want to get fires out and get bad guys out of our town.”
Katie: “I want to be a chef because you get to cook.”
Maizee: “I want to be a teacher because Ms. Koon’s a teacher and it looks fun.”
MaKenna: “I want to be a farmer because I can raise chicks.”
Tabitha: “I want to be a teacher so I can teach kids how to read and write.”
Treno: “I want to be an architect because I like building.”
Zoey: “I want to be a doctor because I want to help people out.”

Adriana: “I want to be a teacher so that I can help kids learn.
Lucina: “I want to be a lady who gets money from a cash register. I want to give people more money.”
Ross: “I want to be a scientist so that I can look at birds.
Caleb: “I want to be a dentist because that’s what my dad is and you get to work on people’s teeth so they don’t get cavities.”
J.T.: “I want to be a dinosaur fossiler because I really like dinosaurs.”
Riley: “I want to be a doctor so that I can take care of people when they are sick.”
Ximena: “I want to be a teacher because I want to read to kids and work with kids.”
Dylan: “I want to be a miner so that I can work under the ground.”
Daylen: “I want to be a vet so that I can take care of animals.”
Taya: “I want to be a doctor because doctors help people get better. I want to help my mom when she is sick.”
Travis: “I want to be a Super Cross racer because I liked it when I went to a race and the jumps are really big.”
Piper: “I want to be a doctor so that I can help people live longer.”
Hannah: “I want to be a vet. That is an animal doctor. I want to take care of them when they are sick and if they don’t want to have babies.”
Addisen: “I want to be a waitress because they have to write stuff down and they get lots of money.”
Natyla: “I want to be my Grandma’s helper because she is very old and cannot walk very good.”
McKenna: “I want to be a doctor. I watched a doctor movie and it looks like fun when they check you in.”
Tatum: “I want to be a dentist so that I can pull out teeth!”
Jynnicie: “I want to be a doctor so that I can help people when they are sick.”
Hayden: “I want to fix parks and houses like my dad does.”
Socimo: “I want to be Batman so I can save the world.”

Mckinley: “I want to be a teacher. I like to play with kids.”
Alexis: “I want to work at HMK. It is fun here and I will teach the kids like Teacher Deb, because we both wear glasses.”
Willow: “I want to be a ballerina. I will teach kids how to dance in the dark and when I turn on the lights they will freeze.”
Trinity: “I want to be a ballerina teacher. I will teach kids how to dance.”
Kenadie: “I want to be a mermaid. I like to swim in the pool and I can swim all the time.”
Hope: “I want to be a teacher. I will teach kids how to learn and to read.”
Breckin: “I want to be a MMA Fighter. I love to kick, box and wrestle.”
Nahanial: “I want to be a pilot. I would fly to Wyoming.”
Taylor: “I want to be a veterinarian. I will help animals, especially bunnies when they get hurt.”
Andrea: “I want to be an astronaut. I would love to go to space and see stars and asteroids and space storms.”
Chris: “I want to be a cop. I will not let bad guys get little kids or crash cars.”
Mickelle: “I want to be a veterinarian. I will take care of animals. I am an animal lover.”
Riely: “I want to be a car fixer. When cars break down I will fix them.”
Kaydence: “I want to be a doctor. I will give people shots and medicine so they will not get sick.”
Jose: “I want to be a motorcycle fixer. When it breaks down I will fix it so I can ride it.”
Cooper: “I want to be trooper. They are cool and my dad is one. I will pull people over.”
Tyrell: “I want to be a fireman. I will save peoples houses when they catch on fire.”
Tanisha: “I want to be a dancer. I want to dance like a ballerina. I love to dance.”
Kyler: “I want to be a fireman. I will use the hose to put the fire out. The water will spray out of the hose.”

Addie: “I want to be a princess because I like to dress up like one. I like to look pretty.”

Amelia: “I can be a doctor to help people.”
Angeli: “I want to be a doctor because doctors help people. They work at the hospital.”
Annabelle: “I can be a vet. It is fun to help animals.”
Ashlon: “I want to be a teacher to teach kids. That would be fun.”
Ava: “I’m going to be babysitter because I like babies.”
Azure: “I’m going to be a ninja biker. I can be a dirt bike ninja to do wheelies and do cool tricks.”
Brynlei: “I’m going to be a librarian because you can get really smart.”
Cristopher: “I want to race cars because I like to go fast in cars.”
Dominick: “I’m going to be a carpenter to build houses because my dad is.”
Eliana: “I’m going to be a teacher because I love my teacher.”

Jeremiah: “I want to be a basketball player because I like to shoot balls in baskets. I want a trophy.”
Lane: “I want to be a doctor because you get paid a lot.”
Maggie: “I want to be a vet because then I will save baby dogs and cats. I would have grown up dogs and cats too.”
Michael: “I want to be a wrestling coach because that is my favorite sport.”
Monica: “I can be a doctor for my family and work with my dad at Zax.”
Tianna: “I’m going to be a doctor because it is fun and I can help people.”
Trace “I want to be a police officer because I would like being one. They can arrest people.”
