Local Emergency Alerts
Grand County residents can sign up to be notified by text, phone call and/or email in case of an emergency situation near their location. Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Moab City Police Department, Moab Valley Fire Department, Grand County Emergency Medical Services, City of Moab and Grand County Dispatch are uniting to encourage the public to sign up at www.grandcountyalerts.org
Moab Regional Hospital
Contact MRH for the most up-to-date policies and procedures. For general questions about hospital access or other health concerns, call 435-719-3500. MRH asks if you have respiratory symptoms needing medical care, or have respiratory symptoms and are in a high-risk population (over 65 or have a medical condition) or if you have respiratory symptoms and have traveled to an area known to have community transmission of COVID-19, or have respiratory symptoms and have had known contact with a person with a positive test for COVID-19, call our hotline at 435-719-3998 to be screened by a nurse and navigated to the proper point of care. > More info
The Grand Center
The Grand Center is closed to visitors, but is offering free assistance with grocery supply and delivery, as well as meals for people over the age of 60 and people with pre-existing medical conditions. You may reach The Grand Center by calling 435-259-6623.

City of Moab
In an press release on March 13, officials with the City of Moab announced the closing of all city buildings at the end of business on Friday, March 13. This includes the Moab Arts and Recreation Center and the Aquatic Center. Moab City Hall is closed to the public but administration and staff are continuing to perform city services. > More info

On March 13, the City of Moab announced the closure of all city buildings indefinitely, including the MARC. > More info
LDS Church
On March 12, The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints announced that all gatherings of church members, including public worship services, are “temporarily suspended.” The April 2020 General Conference will be performed virtually and livestreamed online. > More info
Moab Free Health Clinic
The Moab Free Health Clinic announced in a March 12 post on social media that it will not take in any potential COVID-19 patients and recommends contacting MRH at (435) 719-3998. MFHC is still open for primary care, medication management, STD screening, and mental health services. They ask that if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms, please call before arriving and forgo appointments until you are feeling better. > More info
Grand County School District
As of March 13, all Grand County School District campuses will be closed Monday, March 16 through March 27. On Wednesday, March 18, online education will begin for all students in the district.
On Monday and Tuesday, administrators will create a pick-up schedule for parents who need to check out Chromebook for their students. The schedule will be shared as soon as possible, via parent link, social media and the GCSD website. Emery Telcom is offering free Internet until the end of the school year for families if they have a student K-12. Details of how to set this up will be provided as soon as possible.
Food Services: On Monday and Tuesday, administrators will create a lunch pick-up schedule for those in need of school lunch. The schedule will be shared as soon as possible, via parent link, social media and the GCSD website. No lunches will be available on Monday or Tuesday as we prepare.

On March 13, the Grand Center announced that they will not be serving meals. Starting March 16, Home delivered meals will be available to those who normally would not meet the criteria for a home delivered meal. The Moab Valley Multicultural Center
While they continue to serve the community, MVMC workers are not meeting anyone in person. To access help from MVMC including food aid, translation services, vouchers and other assistance, call 435-259-5444
Grand County Public Library
On March 13, the Grand County Public Library announced it would close indefinitely. Online services like e-books and audiobook checkout will be available digitally, and residents can call the Library if they need help accessing materials. > More info

On March 12, FCIC announced via social media that all Nourishing Traditions programming and events will be canceled for the month of April. > More info
KZMU Radio
On March 16, KZMU Radio announced that they will limit access to their station due to the coronavirus pandemic. “During this time KZMU will continue to broadcast all of our regularly scheduled news and public affairs programming. We will also continue to broadcast pre-programmed music shows from DJs and our automation system throughout the day.” > More info

According to social media, USU-Moab classes will be canceled from Friday, March 13 through Tuesday, March 17. Starting Wednesday, March 18, classes will shift to online courses. > More info

Both the Canyonlands Half Marathon and the Behind the Rocks Ultra have been canceled, and registration has been closed for the Amasa Trail Race on April 18. Event organizer Justin Ricks told the Moab Sun News “We’ll be monitoring the situation, and making a decision about it’s continuation sooner than later,” on March 12. > More info
