Sand Sheff (left front) performed at the Jan. 20 Musical Story Hour at the Grand County Public Library. The library and the Moab Music Festival will continue their collaborative Musical Story Hour with the second event of the series on Saturday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the library, 257 E. Center St.
This event will feature local musicians and Fiery Furnace Marching Band members Bobby Hollahan on trombone and Casey Lawson on trumpet. They will share their love of brass instruments through live musical demonstrations and brass-themed children’s books, read by Moab Music Festival Education Outreach Coordinator Erin Groves. Library staff will lead music-themed crafts, and playing handmade instruments, kids will close out the event with a musical parade around the library.
