Cliff was born to Darla Jean Eddy and Michial Dwaine Sowell on September 21, 1978, in Moab. He passed away on July 1.
Cliff met his wife, Kami Sommer, in 1997. They had two children, Damion Michael Sowell and Madison Lyndsie Sowell. He later had a son, Alyas Bell, and a stepdaughter, Astraya Bell, with Randi Bell.
Cliff loved the outdoors and enjoyed his job at Ultimate UTV. Snowboarding with his children and spending time with his friends was always a favorite pasttime.
He was a free spirit with a kind heart. He never met a stranger that he didn’t turn into a friend.
He is survived by a brother, Michial Dwaine Sowell, Jr. (Seritta) of Vernal; a stepbrother, Kyle Holter of Moab; stepsisters, Tracy Nettik (Johnny) of Rocky Ford, Colorado, and Brooke Martin (James) of San Diego, California; a stepmother, Sherilyn Sowell, of Moab; and Gary and Teresa Eddy, (uncle and aunt) of Moab; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Darla Jean Eddy and Michial Dwaine Sowell; a brother, Cleve Sowell; his sister, Kelly Sowell; stepbrother, Kevin Holter; and by grandparents Dwight and Peggy Morill and Ted and Recie Sowell.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
