Cosmo’s Corner: Spooky Greetings and Library Updates!

Cosmo's Corner Halloween

Happy Halloween!

A brief word from your humble correspondent, Cosmo the Library Cat: I just wanted to send all my friends Happy Halloween greetings from my lovely vacation spot while the Grand County Public Library is being repaired. I’m having a splendid time at my resort and spa during the closure! Though I miss everyone at the library, I must say I haven’t felt this frisky in ages. A little change of routine can be quite refreshing, I’ve found.

I also want to remind you that while the library building is closed until Monday, November 3rd, the librarians are still there for you! You can access all our digital resources 24/7 from the “Digital Library” tab of the library’s website. You’ll need to log in with your library card.

In addition, they’re offering curbside pickup and other limited library services at the Library Teen Center from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For curbside service, place library materials on hold through the online catalog or by calling the Teen Center at 435-355-0735. When it is safe to do so, library staff will gather the items you want from the construction zone and notify you when they are ready to be picked up.

The Teen Center is located right next to the Grand County Public Library at 321 E. Center St. So just pop in or call us when you’re outside and the librarians will bring your items out to you. You may also return your library materials there.

Have a splendid Halloween, my friends!
