Moab Cyclery is back—same location, new leadership.

Longtime employee David Glover and his wife, Suzanna Feuz, have stepped up to keep the shop rolling after the previous owner decided to sell.
“We had some really great people in the bike community get involved to back us,” says Feuz. “That’s how much the shop means to people.”
The transition marks a full-circle moment for Glover, who arrived in Moab a decade ago with nothing but a backpack and a love for bikes.
“I moved out from Iowa on a train and bus and then hitchhiked to Moab from Grand Junction,” Glover recalls. “Did the dirtbag thing to the max—lived in the storage area of the shop for a while. It was supposed to be a short stay, but I fell in love with the place and the people.”
Glover has been a fixture behind the workbench at Moab Cyclery since 2014, wrenching on bikes and sharing trail tips with riders from all over the world.
But stepping into an ownership role means a whole new set of challenges—chief among them, being the face of the shop.
“Interacting with customers in a bigger way is new for me,” he admits. “I’ve always been in the back working on bikes, so it’s different to be the one greeting people and making sure everything runs smoothly. But it’s exciting, too.”
Luckily, Suzanna is right there with him. She also started out at Moab Cyclery years ago, and the couple is eager to grow the shop’s presence in the community. That means not just selling and renting bikes, but getting involved with local cycling events and supporting Moab’s thriving biking culture.
“We’re really looking forward to hosting events, supporting group rides…we really want Moab Cyclery to be a hub for both locals and visitors,” Feuz says.
To celebrate the new chapter, Moab Cyclery is throwing a Grand Reopening Party on March 22.
The event will feature food, drinks, music, and big-ticket giveaways, including a frame from Esker Cycles, raft trips from Worldwide River Expeditions, and gear from Specialized. It’s a chance to welcome back familiar faces, meet the new owners, and toast to the future of a shop that’s been part of Moab’s landscape since 1993.
For Glover and Feuz, the reopening isn’t just about keeping a business alive—it’s about carrying on a tradition, one ride at a time.
“This place has meant a lot to me over the years,” Glover says. “It’s more than just a bike shop—it’s a community. And we want to keep that going.”
