Sterling M. Wade–beloved son, brother, father, and friend–passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on November 26, 2024, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Sterling was born on February 12, 1957, to Edward and Vesta Wade. Sterling was a well-known and respected rock dealer and silversmith in Moab.
Sterling is survived by his children, Aliesha, Tim, Angie, Sandi, and Destin; his grandchildren, Raiden, Chelsea, Haley, Morgan, Derek, Samantha, Brighton, Chloe, and Garrett; his great-grandchildren, Ayanna, Alex, Raylynn, Karman, and Sterling; his sisters, Susan (Ernie) Lisonbee, Sally (Douglas) Allen), Janet (Reggie) Gay, and Michelle (Keith) Holyoak; his brother, Vint (Donna) Wade; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Wade and Josie Wade.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josie; parents brothers Lee Edward and Shane Wade.
Sterling was beloved by many and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
