Moab keeps its status as a Democratic outpost in Utah by thin margin; Martinez, Hadler, Hedin and McCandless elected to Grand County Commission

In the 2024 general election, Grand County again earned its reputation as an outlier in Utah. Voters in the county favored Kamala Harris, 2,794 to 2,298 votes for President-Elect Donald Trump. Democratic candidates for state and congressional seats were chosen by Grand County votes, but all failed to attract a majority of votes from the rest of the state.

In local contested elections, races were extremely tight with just dozens of votes separating candidates.

County Commission At-Large
