Staff at Margaret L. Hopkin Middle School announced Aiden Dugan and Lynndi Smith as the March students of the month.
Seventh-grader Aiden Dugan is a great addition to classrooms, staff said. He is always prepared for class and ready to work. He has a happy personality and a good sense of humor. He really enjoys all aspects of school: he has friends and works well with others, contributes to class discussions in a meaningful way, turns in excellent work, and improves the overall culture of the school. Aiden enjoys dirt biking and playing video games. He likes cats and his favorite class in school is physical education. Aiden also likes riding bikes. His advice to his classmates: “If you put enough effort into something, you will be rewarded!”
Eighth-grader Lynndi Smith is a dedicated student who makes insightful observations and asks deep questions. When she misses school, Lynndi is very conscientious about making up her work. She is a valuable member in class and on the quiz bowl team. Lynndi also puts her full effort each day into science class. She has great critical thinking skills and shows a true understanding of the concepts. Lynndi is very responsible and kind to her peers. Her favorite color is pale yellow; she was born in Vernal, Utah. Lynndi has three siblings and two pet dogs. She also likes to play the piano and she loves to read. Lynndi’s advice to others: “Working hard pays off in the long run!”
