Cosmo’s Corner: Check out Mad Science with the library!

Meow and hello everyone. It’s Cosmo, the renowned library cat and long-time science enthusiast. On behalf of the Grand County Public Library I am happy to invite you to our next Summer Reading program event, “All Together with Mad Science.”

Join us for a fascinating science show by Mad Science of Salt Lake City on Saturday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Star Hall (159 E. Center Street). Experience the wonder of science in action with amazing chemical reactions and fantastic forces at work!

Mad Science is a worldwide organization of educators and scientists dedicated to sparking a lifelong love of science, technology, engineering and math with fun, kid-tested programs. They should not be confused with a secretive organization of mad scientists dedicated to pushing the boundaries of science in dangerous and unethical ways. That organization remains nameless and they never do cool educational programs.

“All Together with Mad Science” is free and lab coats are not required–although they are fun to wear!  Now, I’m heading back to continue my research on the science of sleep.
