Celebrating Moab Sun News reporters

Moab Sun News alumni reporter Anastasia Hufham graduated from Yale with a bachelor’s degree in ethics, politics and economics this May. “I spoke in front of over 19,000 people at a Class Day ceremony wearing a Moab Sun News sticker on my hat,” she wrote us. Hufham spent 2020-2021 reporting in Moab while taking a gap year during the COVID pandemic. She later interned for the Salt Lake Tribune and worked for the Yale Daily News. Congrats, Ana! Come back and see us sometime.

Moab Sun News former high school intern Aly Bertoch is returning to the paper for the summer as a journalist. Bertoch interned during her senior year at Grand County High School before graduating and going to Utah Valley University. This summer, she’s focusing on putting her byline on local events articles and managing the paper’s social media. Welcome back, Aly!
