Cosmo’s Corner: Teen Advo-Cat

Meowzers!!  It’s Cosmo the library cat here. I’ve been hearing lots of buzz about the new Grand County Public Library Teen Center that is going to be opening soon at the Community Resource Center (where the USU campus used to be). It sounds like it’s gonna be the purr-fect hang out. The new Teen Center will be filled with computers, console gaming systems, VR headsets, a maker cart with STEAM activities (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), books, and a giant ping pong table! Plus: SNACKS, resources and, of course, engaging activities and events.

I’m on a special mission to help find the next library staff member to work as a Teen Services Clerk at this awesome new Teen Center. The ideal person for this job enjoys and understands the needs of this unique group. I think I’d be great in this role–the teens at the library totally dig me, and we have a lot in common. Like them, I love to play games and hang with my friends at the library, I require a daily allowance of treats and snacks, and I can be cranky when woken up from a nap. Unfortunately, I’m not eligible to apply as I already have a full-time position at the library. To read more, or to apply, head to https://www.grandcountyutah.net/Jobs.aspx and look for “Teen Library Clerk.” If you do apply, tell them Cosmo sent you–I get a re-fur-al bonus if you’re hired. Good luck and meow for now!
