The Grand County High School varsity girls softball team took an early lead at the beginning innings of their game against the San Juan Broncos on March 7. San Juan struck back and evened the game 6-6 at the top of the 6th inning. The game stretched to extra innings and at the top of the 8th inning, San Juan scored 4 points to take the lead. The game closed with a final score of 10 to 8, favoring San Juan after a hard-fought game.
The Grand County High School junior varsity boys baseball team faced off against San Juan, ending the game with a final score of San Juan 12 – Grand 10. The next home game for the Red Devils JV team will be on April 27 at 3 p.m. against the Monticello Buckaroos.
