The team also traveled to compete in the 3A Drill State Championship held at UCCU Center – Utah Valley University. The varsity team played with nonstop back-and-forth action, coming within a few points and ending the game with a loss of 59-44. The team and head coach Andrea Noyes recognized its departing senior players: Kylee Coleman, Marguerite Groene, Josalyn Murphy and Megan Zunich. The Red Devils jumped out to an early lead and held it all the way until the end of the game. In the JV game, Green River jumped out to an early lead until, with 1:50 left in the 3rd period, Grand took the lead 43-42. Grand was only a few points ahead of Green River right up until the end where they stretched the lead out to a final of 58-52. Next up for the team is a home game against Canyon View on February 10.
