The Grand County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference today at 1 p.m. to announce details of the investigation into the murders of Kylen Schulte and Crystal Beck Turner. The Moab couple was found shot to death at their campsite in the La Sal Mountains in August 2021.

In May 2022, officials named Adam Pinkusewicz, a coworker of Turner, as a suspect in the murders and disclosed that Pinkusewicz had committed suicide after the crime.
“In continuation of the previous release of the identified suspect, Adam Pinkusewicz a timeline and evidentiary findings shall be released to the public regarding this case culminating in closure of this tragic event in our community,” officials said in a press release.
