Tracey Carroll, 53, died peacefully at her home in Moab on November 21, 2022, after a courageous battle with health issues.
Tracey was born on August 8, 1969, in Moab to Susie & Joe Taylor. After growing up around horses, Tracey started showing horses for which she received many awards. She graduated from Grand County High School in 1987, then later attended college at Weber State University.
Tracey would go on to obtain her Realtor’s license and go on to be the salesperson of the year for several years in her district.
More recently, Tracey started Tracey’s Bed & Biscuit, a dog care business. Tracey’s personality, along with her love and passion for animals, created a very successful business. Tracey operated her business until her declining health would no longer allow it. Besides her work, Tracey had a passion for travel and new adventures, exercise, reading, and playing with her 3 dachshund dogs (OJ, Cooper & Digger).
Tracey is survived by her grandfather, Karl Tangren; her mother, Susie Taylor; her two sons, Kyle Taylor (Stephanie) and Jayce Burton (Britney); grandchildren Paige, Landen, Mackenzie & Kaycen; her sister, Chara Norman (Robert); her brother, Jick Taylor; and five nieces and one nephew.
Tracey was preceded in death by her father, Joe Taylor, and her lifelong love, Kevin Carroll.
A celebration of life was held with Tracey’s immediate family in Moab at Susie’s home. Tracey’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude for all the prayers and love given.
