More flooding is possible in Moab and across the Four Corners area as monsoon thunderstorms pass over this week, according to the National Weather Service.
Yesterday’s heavy rains at high elevations led to flooding along Mill and Pack creeks, closing paths along the waterways in Moab.
“Given the already saturated soils and anticipated heavy rain, a Flood Watch has been issued for southeast Utah and southwest Colorado from noon MDT this afternoon through midnight MDT tonight,” the service reported.
Rains are predicted to continue through the week.
