Kay Frank Yama, 68, left this world and peacefully moved on to his next adventure on June 24, 2022, after a valiant battle against physical ailments following a stroke. He will be missed dearly by his family.

Kay was born on April 5, 1954, to Rosemary and Frank Yama in Price, Utah. He lived his entire life in Utah and spent his childhood fishing, boating, and causing mischief in general.

A real ‘local’ resident, he attended Southeast Elementary School, Grand County Middle School, and graduated from Grand County High School in Moab.

Generous to a fault, Kay was always willing to help people in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents, but his legacy lives on through his son, Canyon, and his grandson, Dillon. At Kay’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held at a later date. You may send condolences to the family at www.spanishvalleymortuary.com.
