Marcia Stocks, 63, passed away on June 3, 2022. Marcia was born on January 19, 1959, to Bill and Dorothy Chapman in Denver, Colorado. She had two sisters, Janice (Thayn) and Shelly (Burgess).
Marcia was raised in Moab and graduated from high school in 1977. Later that year, she married Winston Stocks and they made their home in Moab. Together, they had two children, Jessica and Russell. Marcia and Winston were married for 45 years and resided in Moab until the time of her passing.
Marcia is survived by her husband, Winston Stocks; her daughter, Jessica (Trinity) Norton; son, Russell (Nicole) Stocks; her grandchildren, Justice Norton, Addison Norton, and Billy Stocks; her mother, Dorothy Walker; and siblings, Janice (Tavis) Thayn, Shelly (Frank) Burgess, Julie (Michael) Wiles, Wendy (James) Tibbetts, Laurelei Heider, Kevin Walker, Larry Walker and Mike Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Services will be held Friday, June 10 at 1 p.m. at the Moab Community Church (544 Mi Vida Drive, Moab). Interment at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery will follow the service before a luncheon back at the church.
