The Grand County High School track team ended their season on May 23 at the Utah High School Activities and Athletics 1A-4A State Track and Field Championships, held at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah. Girls track member Kylah Ricks achieved three individual titles at the event, coming in first place in the 3200-meter event, second in the 800-meter event, and first place in the 1600-meter race.
“She has been an amazing competitor for Grand County,” said Athletics Director Ron Dolphin. “She likely would have been a four-time state champion in the 3200 and 1600 if Covid hadn’t shut down last season.”
