To the townspeople of the City of Moab,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who were involved in taking care of my mother, who recently passed. A special heartfelt thanks goes to the staff of the Canyonlands Care Center. They cared for my mother for the past eight years, since the center was opened. Preceding that, she was cared for by the staff at Allen Memorial Hospital for 7 years.
The staff at the Canyonlands Care Center was always courteous and respectful. The facility is clean, it doesn’t smell, and the inhabitants of CCC seem well-nourished and happy with the care they are receiving. I know the last year has been hard with reduced visitation, but the staff should be proud that due to their efforts, no one in the center has died from COVID-19. The community should consider itself lucky to have such an excellent facility.
Once again I would like to thank everyone involved in making the last years of my mother’s life comfortable and happy.
