Dear Editor:
The past commissioners responsible for the illegal gerrymandering of San Juan County and responsible for giving millions of dollars of our taxes to expensive law firms should never again hold office in San Juan County. These same people are now asking to change the form of government in San Juan County and will probably try to gerrymander new voting districts along with the change. We cannot afford their extravagant use of our money.
The residents of San Juan County need the funds for infrastructure, education and development. Providing lawyers with first-class accommodations, expensive cars and large homes is not the reason I pay taxes.
