The Grand County High School football team lost 42-10 at North Sanpete on Friday, Sept. 13.
The North Sanpete Hawks led 35-0 at halftime, later extending their lead to 42-0 before GCHS scored a touchdown on a 9-yard run by senior Brayden Cloud early in the fourth quarter, and tacked on a 37-yard field goal as time was winding down in Mt. Pleasant.
The loss drops GCHS’s record this year to 2-3 as the Red Devils enter region play with their homecoming game versus Emery. The Emery Spartans are 0-4 with losses to Millard, North Sanpete, American Leadership Academy and Juab.
Kickoff between the Red Devils and Spartans is set for Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
