Carol Ann Ekker, age 69, passed from this life on June 16 in Price. She spent her life as an active person, dedicated to her family, friends and community.
She was born on May 5, 1950, in Billings, Montana, the daughter of Harry and Ruth Trouth. She married Jessie Ekker on Dec. 26, 1970, in Ely, Nevada.
She worked at the Green River Golf Course, was active in the Beta Zeta Sorority and served on the board of directors at the Green River Medical Center and the Emery County Public Library.
Ekker is survived by her husband Jessie, of Green River; her son Douglas, of Moab; and her daughter Valerie, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a grandson, Jessie Wyatt Ekker, of Green River; a granddaughter, Brylee Ekker, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one brother, Ken Trouth; and a sister, Nancy King; along with many friends and family.
At her request, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 22, at 10 a.m. at the Elgin Cemetery near Green River.
