Children lined up to take turns hitting piñatas throughout the day during the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration at the Moab Valley Multicultural Center on Sunday, Oct. 28. Children’s activities also included face-painting and arts and crafts. Volunteers staffed the celebratory event that featured decorated altars and “tombs” for deceased loved ones in the community.
