Naim Cervantes is the BEACON Afterschool Student of the Month for the month of October. He is a second-grade student at Helen M. Knight Elementary School in Mrs. Estenson’s class. Naim is the son of Jose Luis Torres and Maria Arroyo.
Naim was nominated for student of the month because he is an excellent leader. Andrea Savarese, the BEACON enrichment teacher who nominated him, said Naim “is very self-motivated with his art projects and is always willing to present them the group.”
Naim likes math, playing video games, wants to be a soldier when he grows up, and his favorite BEACON club is Artist’s League with his favorite BEACON teacher, Miss Andrea.
