Community members listened and took notes as Kit Gruelle, a consultant with Utah Domestic Violence Coalition, led a training on building a coordinated community response to domestic violence and abuse. The training was held at the Moab Regional Hospital on Sept. 6. Domestic violence and abuse is a complicated crime that requires a community-based response, Gruelle said. The training provided information on the types of responses agencies can take when working with survivors of intimate partner abuse. [Photo by Murice D. Miller / Moab Sun News]
