Mae Law Sebastian, March 17, 1927 – February 27, 2018

Dona “Mae” Sebastian, 90, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully at home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on February 27, 2018.

She was born on March 17, 1927, in Clayton, New Mexico, to James P. and Dona O. Law. She married Sidney E. Sebastian on March 29, 1946, in Hale Center, Texas. They lived in Moab, Utah, over 63 years. She provided food and poured many cups of coffee for the Moab residents at the Canyonlands Café and the Westerner Grill for over 18 years. Mae was a loyal member of the Church of Christ for over 60 years, and was involved in her children’s sport activities and school functions. She is blessed and survived by four children: Donna Gail Holbrook (Eddie), Roland Earl Sebastian (Jan), Rhonda Sue Sebastian and Terrill Joe Sebastian (Ann). She had 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Louise Higginbotham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney, on July 9, 2002; her brothers: Alvin, Pinky, Bud, Leroy and James; and sisters: Irene, Lois and Pat.

Services are pending at this time. Mae will be laid to rest, next to her husband of 56 years, Sid, at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2651 Spanish Valley Drive, Moab, Utah.
