Dolphin, who was also named Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Athletic Director of the Year in 2010, said that although he doesn’t work for awards, he was honored to earn the recognition. “It’s a nice award,” he said. “It’s really nice to be recognized by UHSAA for the work that I’ve done.” Dolphin said there are about 10 nominees for each Distinguished Service Award given by UHSAA, and that he doesn’t know who nominated him.
