I wanted to write and publicly thank the Utah Highway Patrol trooper who stopped to check on me the other day when my vehicle broke down coming back from Grand Junction. Blowouts are never fun. He was courteous and concerned, asking if I had water and if I needed any assistance. This is typical of what I see happening in our little corner of Utah. The local law enforcement in our city, county and state do a great job despite the constant risk they place themselves under while serving the public. We hear a lot of negative things going on bashing the police in this nation. Paying attention to all the things they do right instead of criticizing and finding fault seems like a better way to live. To all our men and women who are there watching over us, be safe and thank you for your service.
