The Trunk or Treat this year will be at the Old Spanish Trail Arena where the new ball park area is. There will be lighting, and electrical outlets and plenty of parking. Thank you, Grand County.
However, we are in need of more registered vehicles for trunks. It does not have to be a vehicle all decorated up. It can be anything with wheels, or even a lawn chair. The children don’t care; we all know what they want.
There will also be transportation provided by a new business here, “The Moab People Mover.” It has offered to do this free of charge for those whose parents that have no other means of getting out to the event. They want all the children to be able to participate. Thank you, Jerry Dolejs and Charlotte Mates, with USUTAHBUS.
A big thank-you to the Canyonlands Copy Center in providing the flyers to the schools!
So, businesses, agencies and individuals, please consider putting in a trunk to make the Trunk or Treat successful this year for the Moab families. Candidates, what better way to get to know the families of Grand County and them to know you?
Also, donations of candy and/or non-food items are needed to ensure that all the trunks have enough for the full three hours.
For transportation, donation questions or how to register a vehicle, call 970-986-9766, or 435-259-1658 for more information.
Thank you, Moab community!
