Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Executive Director Marc Hunter presented the 2016-17 Directors Cup to Grand County High School Principal Stephen Hren on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
The award is given to the top school in each classification based on weighted criteria: 40 percent team performance, 40 percent grade point average and 20 percent sportsmanship. Grand also won the cup in 2013-14, joining Manti as the only schools in 2A to win the cup twice.
