Moab business owner Colin Fryer speaks out against a recent proposal to amend the way in which Transient room Tax revenues are spent to promote tourism in Grand County, at a public hearing on Tuesday, June, 6. The hearing was attended by about 50 people, with 15 making comments – a majority of those against any changes to the code. A motion carried to leave the written public comment period open, with no defined close, and schedule a future meeting with the travel council.
