Moab Family Medicine and Moab Regional Hospital raised $1,100 for the Grand County High School Athletic Department on Saturday, July 30, during a discounted sports physical clinic for Red Devil athletes.

Dr. Ken Williams, Dr. Kathy Williams, Dr. Jonas Munger and Dr. Dylan Cole, of Moab Family Medicine; and Dr. Kim Brandau of Moab Regional Hospital volunteered their clinic time and saw more than 40 Red Devil athletes.

Retired primary care physician Dr. Del Keys pushed for the discounted sports physical clinic earlier this spring.

Each athlete was charged $25 for their visit, and 100 percent of the proceeds collected are being donated to the high school’s athletic department.

All high school athletes must have a sports physical waiver signed by a physician before they can hit the field with the high school team.
