Housing Authority of Southeastern Utah Executive Director Ben Riley (in blue shirt) spoke with HASU Board chair Cathy Bonde (second from right) and Brian Rudd about the work that went into Rudd’s new home on Murphy Lane. After nine months of work on the project, Rudd began to move into the home on Friday, June 24, following an open house that welcomed local residents to tour the property. Rudd’s home is one of four new houses at the housing authority’s Quarter Horse Flat development, which he and other homeowners built with the help of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development’s Mutual Self-Help Program.
