HMK’s Student of the Month

Helen M. Knight Elementary’s February Student of the Month is Tatum Packard. She is a third-grade student in Mrs. Torgerson’s class.

Tatum is the daughter of Travis and Janae Packard.

Torgerson said that Tatum has “such depth.”

“She is truly a well-rounded student and person,” she said. “Every challenge I’ve given Tatum, she’s gladly accepted and asked for more. She loves to learn, and she’s willing to share her knowledge by helping those around her when appropriate.”

Torgerson said that Tatum is also a natural born leader, and said she uses her instincts to deal with matters independently and in a positive way.

“People are drawn to Tatum because of how she treats them, and how she makes them feel,” she said. “She’s very compassionate, fun-loving, and knows how to have a good time.”

Torgerson said that Tatum has a big, bright future ahead of her, as well as the drive to accomplish all of her goals and dreams.

“I’m really lucky to have you as one of my students this year,” she said.
